Oh Blessed Baby!

This one's for you Laur. Hope you don't mind but while she was screaming at me i told her it was all your fault that i had to wrestle her back into the dress. ;)

And this one is just for funsies! Everytime i give her sophie, her giraffe, she wraps her arm all the way around it and i can't pry it away from her. I think it's so cute! However, i feel bad for sophie when Liv gets mad because it goes from a hug to some martial arts strangle hold. Either way...gotta love it!

Little Burrito

So, from the beginning my child has not been one who likes to be swaddles, or so i thought. The last couple days she has let me swaddle her before i put her down for naps. Every time i do, i pick her up and say, "oh, look at my little burrito!". Well, when she wakes up and i go to get her she has always managed to get her little feet out. So i guess she really is a little burrito because every burrito i've ever wrapped ends up coming apart and everything falls out the bottom...silly girl!

So, I figured instead of trying to remember all the cool stories that go with these pics i would just let them perty much speak for themselves. I want to get them all up for you to enjoy!

This first picture was geoff's doing...of course! She flipped us off all by herself but geoff wasn't about to let the moment pass without proper documentation. Also, this is when we discovered that she's allergic to fabric softener, hence all the hives. Come to think of it that's probly why she was flippin me off!




This next picture was of Livia drinking her first bottle. I was holding the bottle and talking to my sister in law when i realized that i wasn't even doing anything. I let go and she drank the rest of the bottle like this!


Bathies are her favorite. She has never ever cried during bath-time, except and the end when i'm taking her out.


We went to the zoo with Elise, Sonja and Odin. Once again, she slept through the whole thing. Did I mention that i'm pretty sure she's going through and growth spurt?

Anywho... As you can tell, we are pretty much the luckiest parents in the world. We have the perfect little baby and lucky for you guys she changes everyday, so i'll be sure to keep you updated!

Yippee Ki-Yay!

So after a long absence from the blogging world, i have decided that now i will stop being a bum and start back up again. Last night Liv and I went out to Mudlake to watch the rodeo. She was so excited...she slept through the whole thing! Poor little thing missed out on all the fun. ;) every once in a while when the announcer would get real excited and start yelling over the microphone she'd crack one eye open and look at me with a look that said ' would somebody shut that guy up?!'

The main reason we wanted to go to the rodeo was to watch all that good barrel racing, and Seth just so happened to be riding his first buckin bronco so we decided since we were out, we could probly stay and watch him too! ;) He did such a good job! If we're being totally honest, I think he had a bit of an unfair advantage, he's so tall he could wrap his legs around the whole horse and hook his feet underneath. All those other bronc riders are unfortunately short and stubby (course maybe that's how seth will look after a few more rides!)

If you watch real close in the video, there was a point right at the beginning where he almost fell off but later he told us, "I lost my stirrup right when i came out of the shoot. I almost fell of right then but then i thought to myself...wait a sec, 400 bucks is a lot of money! So i just squeezed my legs together real tight and hung on." I was so proud of him. If you're wise you'll turn the volume way down before you watch this cuz i got a little excited!
